Our History

A Legacy of Transformation

From a pioneering 350 participants in 2002 to a global alumni network, DLA has stayed committed to raising leaders in every sphere of life.

January 2002

DLA Was Born

Daystar Leadership Academy came into existence as a non-profit oriented leadership and management development school with a global transformation vision.

March 2002

First Basic Leadership Course

The first Basic Certificated Course in Leadership held with over 350 participants: launching a movement of transformed leaders.

2006

Weekend Programmes Introduced

Weekend Leadership Certificate Courses (Basic and Advanced) were introduced for busy professionals unable to attend weekday classes.

2010s

Executive & Teen Tracks Expanded

Executive Leadership courses for CEOs, Senior Pastors, and GOs, plus a custom Basic Leadership Programme for teenagers (13 to 19) were formalised.

Global Leadership Community

Over 35,000 graduates in 50+ countries, still driven by one mission: raising role models who transform the world.
